hello, mortals. lately, ive been reading some hee-larious manga and i just remembered to share this one to you^^

found this 4-koma when i was lurking around animate in akiba. the huge cardboard sign got my attention and i thought that the manga might be interesting. so i decided to pick up an issue of manga time kirara (of course i cant read it coz its in kanji :P). i even thought the mangaka was kakifly at first, seeing that they hame some similar qualities

basically, the manga is your typical boke and tsukkomi (or tsundere) manga. i find it pretty funny but scanlations take ages to appear so i've no choice but to re read the panels over and over again.

and it never gets old xDD

so to my never ending curiosity (and after reading an issue of ImagineFX) i decided to give the boke (yasuna) my own interpretation. now, in that ImagineFX issue, it talked about manga styles and i learned a lot~especially when it comes on lineart.
there also was this artist who uses pencil strokes on Ps as an ink medium instead of the usual 66/32 opacity brush. i tried giving that a go, that is to manually draw some lines with the pencil brush instead of the good ol pen tool (even though i used it at some spots xDDD)

so anyway, here you go ^o^ e.n.j.o.y

okay, so enough about me being a villain xD on the the pic.

well, what else to say, after eating some fries space pirates attacked me and dragged me to their home planet where i was jailed for years~ all i could do while rotting in my jail cell was to practice chibis until fellow kameraden rescued me.

so anyway here it is bla bla bla

ok, so for sunday, i thought id give something quite different. aeons ago, when i did a comission for a fellow dc kameraden, his friend got interested in a commission piece as well~ now, what she wanted was something out of the ordinary, so i decided to give the same treatment ^^ description was simple, she wanted an incarnation of her psychopath nicknamed "the booted killer" i went out of my way and gave it a different treatment than most of my animu works. nevertheless here he is:

good tidings, people. as i am doing my daily routine, talking to fig.fm and dc members, i stumbled across Danny's post about his own tv show going on air. now, before he welcomed fanarts of Ritsu as her seiyuu is going to appear on the night of the show. me, being curious decided to send a fanart of ritsu that i made.

a few months later i found my artwork printed and shown on satomi sato's blog 0_0 i am stoked.
speechless, i tried to convince myself that my artwork has been printed and is ready to be shown on Tokyo MX TV. wow. and it all happened with just an ounce of curiosity (of course, i have convinced myself that i was shit and no good and itll probably get trashed) but thats the old me thats speaking...to think that it would grace the blog of satomi sato is more than a compliment to me ^_^

whew! what a week! tis only tuesday and i found myself scrawning at the amount of work i have to do! thankfully i finished 50% of the commission by ev3ntdotnet.

her name is ALINA which is an acronym (i couldnt remember, sorry lol) and im very glad that ev3ntdotnet found her amazing and professional ^_^

next up would be the final character PRIME which is the villain (i think) of his unborn comic book series. till then kameraden, i bid you farewell!

hello folks. earlier today, i finished my illustration assignment ^_^ took me 3-4 weeks to finish this basturd and hopefully i can get away with what i have. now, many of you ,may have baffled faces going what the farck is going on? why are the color pooey? well folks, i tried my best to optimize the colours, and corel always have some sort of color shift when you export jpegs. so when commenting, do so gently ;)
